Mikko Laksola

about me

the short version

I'm Mikko, a highly introspective social introvert who spends most of his time solving problems and trying to figure something out or get better at something.

Professionally, I want to become a great leader and builder of successful organizations — in business and sports.

the slightly longer version

My name is Mikko Laksola, but many call me Löki.

I'm highly introspective, which is to say, I have a very active brain. It's always solving problems, asking questions, trying to understand something, or simply going through different scenarios of, well, whatever. This is both my greatest strength and my biggest weakness. On a good day, I'm smart, thoughtful, and creative. On a bad day, I get lost inside my own head, overthink, and try to solve problems that don't need to be solved.

My brain is like the horse that may be faster than most but gets scared or distracted easily. And I'm rider who is either enjoying the speed, trying to keep it on track, or sometimes just holding on for dear life until it gets tired and calms down.

I'm also a social introvert who loves deep conversations, especially topics that challenge me or that I'm passionate about, which includes things like:

I'm Finnish and also speak English and German. One day I'll add Japanese to that list.

I look like this.
